Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions set out the legal rules applicable to the SOLworld Conference 2023. Guests shall be bound by these terms and conditions upon registering for the gathering and are advised to read and understand these terms carefully before registering. The Organiser will not accept any conditions contradictory to or deviant from these general terms and conditions.

Registration

Registrations will be considered in their order of arrival.

Registration to the SOLworld Conference 2023 must be done through the online registration system. Participants will receive an automatic confirmation of the registration details. After the payment you will receive an e-mail message that the transaction was successful. All payments are made in Euro.

If you do not obtain anything, please send an email to office@sinnvoll-fuehren.com to make sure that the Organiser has received your booking. Registration will only be effective on receipt of the registration fee. Please notify any corrections to your registration immediately.

Substitution, Cancellations and refunds

Substitutions of Guests are possible at any time. Please note, that short term substitutions can lead to some minor inconveniences in the registration process.

All cancellations must be received in writing or by email by May 9th. Refunds will be provided minus a handling and transaction charge of €50.

No refund of any kind, for any reason (including medical emergencies) will be given for cancellation requests received after April 30th.

Substitutions from the same organisation are welcome at no additional fee. If a substitution is necessary, please email office@sinnvoll-fuehren.com ahead of time or bring a written statement/email from the person who will not be attending to the on-site registration counter. This will help simplify the transfer process and expedite registration.

No-shows are liable for the entire conference fee.

The organisers of the SOLworld conference 2023 reserve the right to cancel the gathering or substitute speakers. In the unlikely event that we should have to cancel the SOLworld conference 2023, attendees will be refunded for the amount paid for the gathering, but the organisers are not responsible for any attendees’ other related expenses, including hotel and travel.

Refunds will be issued within 20 business days after the scheduled conclusion of the gathering. Sorry, we cannot, and does not, make exceptions to this policy.

All cancellations and changes must be submitted in written form – with indication of full name, invoice number and bank details for reimbursement – to: office@sinnvoll-fuehren.com

Liability

The Organiser does not accept liability for the up-to-dateness, correctness and completeness in respect to conference documentation and content.

The Organiser will not assume any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury to persons or property during the SOLworld conference 2023.

Photographs, video-streaming, etc.

The Organiser may free of charge and without the further consent of the participants use and release pictures and shots taken of the participants and/or their works (such as posters, excerpts of presentations or lectures) during the gathering for reports of the conference and announcement of events in future.

Privacy Policy

All personal data provided to the Organiser for registration will be treated as confidential. The data shall be used and stored for further processing and documentation purposes. The information will not be re-used for an incompatible purpose. Data shall be delivered to assigned service providers, as deemed necessary for the successful performance of the gathering. The Organiser will only disclose information to third parties if that is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose(s) identified above. See Privacy Policy

Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

Disputes

All agreements between the Organiser and the Guests and all disputes which may arise between the Organiser and the Guests shall be exclusively subject to Austrian law. The Court of jurisdiction shall be Vienna, if not otherwise required by the Austrian Consumer Protection Act.
